…In the heart of an ancient, moonlit clearing, a lone woman sat by a crackling campfire, her silvery hair cascading like a waterfall of starlight down her back. The eerie beauty of the night was juxtaposed by the looming presence of a threatening mob, encroaching from the shadows, their faces distorted by fear and rage.
The flames danced before her, casting a warm glow that painted the clearing in hues of gold and amber. Seraphina's gaze, steady and unwavering, fixated on the flickering tongues of fire. The crackling sound of burning wood serenaded her ears, a comforting melody that resonated with the ancient magic flowing through her veins. The scent of the flames, earthy and familiar, mingled with the crisp autumn air.
Lost in the dance of firelight, Seraphina's mind drifted back to the early days of her training. In the hallowed halls of the ancient temple, she had discovered the dormant magic within her—a gift passed down through generations of custodians. Her mentor, a wise elder named Elowen, guided her through the intricate melodies of the ancient songs.
The first time Seraphina sang, the very air around her seemed to shimmer with latent energy. Elowen's eyes sparkled with pride, recognising the potential that lay within her apprentice. The songs weren't mere notes; they were threads connecting the custodians to a realm of magic that existed beyond the perceptions of ordinary folk.
She recalled the nights spent under the starlit sky, practicing until her voice resonated with the purity of the enchanted woods. Elowen's words echoed in her memory, "Seraphina, you are the keeper of our heritage. Your songs will weave the tapestry that binds our world to the magic of the ancients."….
