A brain tumour diagnosis in 2018 changed everything for me. Prior to that, I had always been content to keep my creativity close; a source of enjoyment and a way to process emotions that often resulted in gifts for family and friends.

Being told that I had potentially only got a couple of months to live, after what had already been a fairly traumatic and grief filled couple of years, really hammered home the fragility and finality of life.

It shifted something inside of me. I was bursting with unfinished ideas; stories, poems, paintings and songs.

The desire to share my art, was born. Actually, it was more than that. I became compelled to share - insistent that people listen and read and see.

My message is simple; don't let life pass you by. Go after your dreams, believe in yourself and make the most of the time you have.
